How to Use the Pomodoro Timer

  1. Select a mode: Pomodoro, Short Break, or Long Break.
  2. Optionally set a custom time in minutes for the selected mode.
  3. Click the Start button to begin the countdown.
  4. When time runs out, you’ll hear a sound and receive a browser notification (if granted).
  5. Click Pause to stop the timer without resetting it.
  6. Use the Reset button to start over with the selected mode’s default/custom time.
  7. Your completed Pomodoro sessions will be tracked and displayed below the timer.
